The Austin Martial Arts Festival is successful as the result of contributions from the Festival directors, volunteer staff, and many more people.
Notable Masters, Heads of Schools, and Instructors generously support the Festival's amateur tournament as advisors and impartial judges and referees. They lend their expertise and experience to ensure the safety, integrity and quality of each competitive event. Primarily, these people are from the martial arts community in the Austin area. A few are from other major cities in Texas, and a couple of them travel from out-of-state to support the Austin Martial Arts Festival.
The performers, exhibitors, and presenters display the diversity and strength of the cultures represented in the martial arts. Their contributions form the Festival's unique expression.
Only with all these people can the Austin Martial Arts Festival continue to build a strong community through competition, culture and dialogue in a celebration worth remembering.
